India, Sept. 29 -- Indian space-tech startup TakeMe2Space is moving beyond demonstrating that computing workloads can be processed in orbit, with plans to build a network of satellites that can function as a distributed computing infrastructure in space.

The Hyderabad-based company is preparing to launch MOI-1A on SpaceX's Transporter-18 rideshare mission on 1 October 2026. The satellite is designed to process Earth-observation data in low Earth orbit rather than sending large volumes of raw data to ground stations for analysis.

The next stage is more ambitious. TakeMe2Space plans to deploy larger, networked satellites, including two 100-kg spacecraft targeted for launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9 in late 2028 as part of the Waymaker 2 ridesh...
