India, Sept. 18 -- The European Space Agency (ESA) has selected satellite telecommunications company Sateliot to participate in the consolidation phase of its IRIS Low-LEO Pre-operational and De-risk Activities, under a project called RESCUE-NET (Resilient European Sovereign Communications Unified Ecosystem - NTN).

Under the project, Sateliot will examine future Direct-to-Device (D2D) and secure IoT connectivity use cases, focusing on how non-terrestrial network (NTN) capabilities based on 3GPP standards can support resilient and sovereign communications for European government users.
