India, June 10 -- NXP Semiconductors has announced the SAF8444, a new automotive radar system-on-chip (SoC) designed to support advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with improved power efficiency and reduced system complexity.

The new solution features an RF design intended to support high-performance radar applications while lowering power consumption. According to NXP, the chip can help reduce overall system costs by simplifying thermal management and easing vehicle integration, making it particularly relevant for electric vehicle (EV) platforms.
