India, April 24 -- Nokia reported a steady start to 2026, supported by growth in optical networking and continued demand from AI and cloud-related customers. The results reflect ongoing investment in network infrastructure, data centre connectivity and next-generation communication technologies.
Comparable net sales increased by 4% year-on-year on a constant currency and portfolio basis (2% reported). Growth was driven primarily by Network Infrastructure, where net sales rose 6%, with Optical Networks expanding by 20%. Demand from AI and cloud customers remained strong, with related net sales rising 49%.
