Nokia launches AI-native RAN platform for future networks
India, July 17 -- Nokia has introduced what it describes as the telecom industry's first commercial AI-native Radio Access Network (AI-RAN) platform, designed to integrate artificial intelligence directly into radio networks as operators prepare for AI-driven services and the transition towards 6G.
The platform combines Nokia's AI-native anyRAN software with NVIDIA's Aerial AI-RAN platform to shift radio networks from hardware-centric architectures to software-defined, AI-enabled infrastructure.
