India, Oct. 14 -- NITI Aayog's Frontier Tech Hub has released a Data Centre Evaluation Framework to Help States Plan for Sustainable Growth, aimed at helping state governments assess proposals, identify infrastructure constraints and plan for data centre expansion.

Developed in consultation with the Ministry of Power, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and industry stakeholders, the framework provides a common approach for evaluating projects and coordinating decisions across government departments and utilities.
