India, April 9 -- Equinix has announced the opening of its fourth International Business Exchange (IBX) data centre in Mumbai, MB3. The facility is among the larger retail data centres in the city and is designed to support high-performance workloads and hybrid multicloud deployments, including liquid cooling capabilities for enterprise use. The launch comes amid rising demand for secure, high-density and interconnected infrastructure in India, driven by increased adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), cloud migration and data localisation requirements.
The company has invested over USD 95 million in the initial phase of MB3, which provides capacity for more than 1,370 cabinets. The facility is designed to scale to over 5,475 cabinets...
