India, July 9 -- India's telecom operators are increasingly finding stability in an area that remains largely invisible to consumers: machine-to-machine (M2M) connectivity.

According to subscriber data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the M2M segment recorded uninterrupted growth for Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea between January and May 2026, even as consumer mobile subscriptions fluctuated during the same period.
