India, July 29 -- India's telecom sector continued its subscriber growth trajectory in June 2026, with all major telecom operators except MTNL expanding their wireless customer base, according to the latest Telecom Subscription Data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

Bharti Airtel emerged as the largest contributor to monthly wireless subscriber additions, while Reliance Jio maintained its leadership in overall wireless market share, fixed wireless access (FWA) subscribers and wireless broadband. Meanwhile, Vodafone Idea (Vi) extended its streak of subscriber gains, and state-owned BSNL also added customers during the month.
