India, June 26 -- India's digital connectivity continues to expand at a rapid pace. According to the latest TRAI Indian Telecom Services Performance Indicator Report for the quarter ending 31 March 2026, the country's internet subscriber base increased from 1,028.61 million in December 2025 to 1,092.79 million by March 2026.

Of the total subscribers, 46.54 million were wireline internet users, while 1,046.26 million accessed the internet wirelessly. Broadband subscriptions also grew by 5.81%, reaching 1,065.88 million, while wireline teledensity rose to 3.38%.
