India, April 23 -- At Google Cloud Next '26, Google Cloud outlined a series of updates aimed at supporting what it describes as an "agentic enterprise"a model in which artificial intelligence systems can perceive, reason and act with limited human intervention. The company said the changes are intended to help organisations move beyond basic chatbot applications towards more autonomous systems embedded across business processes.

According to Thomas Kurian, the updated Gemini Enterprise is designed as an integrated system connecting data, applications, employees and AI agents. He described it as a unified stack developed to improve scale and operational efficiency, rather than a set of standalone services.
