India, March 11 -- Fortinet has announced the release of FortiOS 8.0, the latest version of the operating system that powers the company's security platform. The update was introduced during Fortinet Accelerate 2026 and includes new capabilities focused on artificial intelligence-driven security, secure access service edge (SASE) architecture and quantum-safe cryptography.
The new release aims to help organisations manage increasingly complex digital environments as they expand the use of cloud services, artificial intelligence and hybrid work models.
