India, June 18 -- Cashify, a recommerce platform has released findings from a consumer survey examining attitudes towards smartphone resale and data privacy, revealing growing concerns about the security of personal information once devices change hands.
The survey, which gathered responses from 8,000 consumers, found that 74% are concerned about the potential misuse of personal data after selling a smartphone, highlighting data security as an issue in India's expanding device resale market.
