India, April 9 -- A recently announced two-week "conditional" ceasefire in the Middle East is expected to provide short-term relief for AI infrastructure in the region, following a period of heightened geopolitical tension and direct attacks on data centres and related facilities.

In recent weeks, incidents involving critical infrastructure have underscored the risks facing the region's emerging AI ecosystem.
