AI infrastructure putting archived data back to work: IDC
India, Sept. 11 -- Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing enterprise storage requirements as organisations retain more data and bring information previously consigned to archives back online for training, inference and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
The shift is broadening the AI infrastructure conversation beyond compute, driving businesses to focus on storage capacity, retrieval speeds and cost per terabyte alongside the performance requirements of AI workloads.
