India, Aug. 28 -- Act Fibernet, wired internet service providers has commissioned a 35 kVA solar power installation at its SKAV building in Bengaluru, marking the second deployment under its Green DC initiative.

The installation is part of Act's efforts to integrate renewable energy into its infrastructure and reduce reliance on conventional power sources. The company said the initiative is aimed at improving energy efficiency as demand for digital connectivity and supporting infrastructure grows.

The Bengaluru installation follows Act's first Green DC solar deployment in Hyderabad in August 2025. The company said it is evaluating further opportunities to integrate renewable energy across its infrastructure.
