Hanoi, Jan. 13 -- The Vietnam women's national football team will launch its first training camp of 2026 as part of preparations for the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026 finals, set to take place in Australia from March 1-21.

Beginning on January 14, Head Coach Mai Duc Chung has named a 28-player squad for training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre, while the coaching staff continue to scout and develop promising young talents.

During this key preparation phase, the team will travel to China for a training camp from February 7-14 to increase competitive exposure, refine tactics and fine-tune their playing style, aiming to reach peak condition ahead of the continental showpiece.
