Vinh Long, Nov. 6 -- The Ok Om Bok Festival, a traditional cultural event of the Khmer ethnic community and a recognised national intangible cultural heritage, was held on November 5 at the Ao Ba Om national historical and scenic site in the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Thien said the festival is the highlight of the province's Cultural, Sports and Tourism Week, helping strengthen community bonds, preserve Khmer cultural identity and promote socio-economic development.
