Berlin, July 28 -- The Vietnamese Veterans' Association in Germany held a tribute ceremony in Berlin on July 27 to honour Vietnamese war heroes and invalids, marking the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27). The event, the first of its kind on an Europe-wide scale, was backed by the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany, the Union of Vietnamese People Associations in Europe, and the Federation of Vietnamese People Associations in Germany.
