Vientiane, Aug. 13 -- The Vietnamese Consulate General in Pakse hosted a ceremony on August 12 in Champasak province, southern Laos, to mark the 80th National Day of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - 2025).

In her address, Consul General Ta Phuong Dung highlighted that over eight decades of nation-building and development, especially following 50 years of reunification and nearly 40 years of the Doi moi (Renewal) reforms, Vietnam has attained historic achievements across multiple sectors.
