Vietnam records 15.4% growth in international air passengers
Hanoi, July 20 -- International passenger traffic through Vietnam's airports continued its strong recovery in the first half of 2026, with the number of international travellers increasing 15.4% year-on-year, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV). CAAV statistics show that international passenger throughput reached 26.2 million as of June 15, 2026. Of the total, Vietnamese airlines transported 9.6 million international passengers, a slight increase of 0.2% year-on-year, accounting for 36.6% of the total international passenger market.
