Vietnam, Philippines seek to deepen strategic partnership
Hanoi, May 28 -- With a strong foundation of friendship, growing political trust and broad cooperation potential, the upcoming state visit by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and President of Vietnam To Lam to the Philippines is expected to provide a fresh impetus for bilateral ties and contribute positively to peace, stability and development in the region, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong has said.
