Hanoi, March 19 -- Vietnam is committed to working closely with Cuba to implement cooperation programmes and projects, delivering tangible benefits to businesses and people in both countries, a senior Party official has said.

At a reception in Hanoi on March 19 for Cuban Ambassador Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, Politburo member and Chairman of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation Trinh Van Quyet affirmed that the Party, State, and people of Vietnam always attach importance to and seek to strengthen its special friendship with Cuba.
