Bangkok, Sept. 9 -- Thailand has officially introduced its plans for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 33) and the 13th ASEAN Para Games at a broadcaster meeting and press briefing held in Bangkok on September 8.

The host country announced that SEA Games 33 will take place from December 9 - 20 in Bangkok and the provinces of Chonburi and Songkhla. Athletes from all 11 member states of the Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF) - Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam - will compete in 54 sports with 574 medal events.

Following that, ASEAN Para Games 13 will be held in Nakhon Ratchasima from January 20 - 26, 2026, featuring competitions in 19 sports....
