Bangkok, Aug. 5 -- Thailand welcomed more than 18.5 million foreign tourists in the first seven months of this year, generating over 896 billion THB (nearly 27 billion USD) in revenue. Data released by the Thai Ministry of Tourism and Sports on August 3 showed that the top five source markets were China (nearly 3.08 million visitors), Malaysia (2.37 million), India (nearly 1.38 million), Russia (1.1 million), and the Republic of Korea (RoK) (over 679,000), The Nation newspaper reported.
