Bangkok, Aug. 8 -- Prosecutors in Thailand have formally indicted 23 individuals and legal entities on charges related to the collapse of a Bangkok office building in an earthquake in Myanmar in March. The 30-storey tower crumbled seconds after a 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit neighbouring Myanmar on March 28. The partially built high-rise, meant to house the State Audit Office (SAO), was the only building in Thailand to collapse, killing 89 people on the site, mostly construction workers. Thailand's Office of the Attorney-General said a case has been submitted to a criminal court, with a decision expected in a matter of months.
