Hanoi, Aug. 12 -- The Republic of Korea (RoK)'s media continued to provide extensive coverage on August 12 of the State visit to the country by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam, his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly, and a high-level Vietnamese delegation from August 10-13.

According to the Yonhap News Agency, this is the first State visit by a foreign leader to the RoK since President Lee Jae Myung took office in June. As part of the visit, General Secretary To Lam visited Yonsei University and delivered a policy speech. On this occasion, Yonsei University President Yoon Dong-sup awarded him an honorary doctorate.
