Hanoi, Dec. 15 -- The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 25,144 VND/USD on December 15, down 4 VND from the last working day of the previous week. With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,401 VND/USD, and the floor rate 23,887 VND/USD. At 8:25, the buying and selling rates at major commercial banks saw decreases. Both Vietcombank and BDI listed the buying rate at 26,121 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,401 VND/USD, down 14 VND and 4 VND, respectively from the December 12 morning session./.
