Hanoi, Oct. 21 -- Donations from agencies, organisations, and individuals to support people affected by natural disasters and floods had totalled more than 1.06 trillion VND (over 40.46 million USD) as of 17:00 on October 21, according to the Central Relief Board under the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee.

The same day, President of the VFF Central Committee Do Van Chien received donations from several organisations, including 5 billion VND from the Ministry of Construction, 10 billion VND from the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank), 105 million VND from Class K15 of Hanoi Law University, and 80 million VND from Thanh Xuan Trung Primary School in Hanoi's Thanh Xuan district.
