Nghe An, July 30 -- As many as 3,655 cartons of bottled water have been distributed to residents in storm-affected areas of the central province of Nghe An as part of a joint effort supported by international organisations and coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the provincial People's Committee.
The bottled water was delivered on July 29 to Huu Kiem, Tam Thai and Tuong Duong, the three communes severely affected by Typhoon Wipha. Prolonged flooding has raised the risk of groundwater contamination, leaving local residents without access to safe drinking water.
