Hanoi, Aug. 7 -- Numerous activities will be held for overseas Vietnamese to honour and promote Vietnamese language on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day (September 2), the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a press briefing on August 6. The activities include a Vietnamese language teaching training course for overseas Vietnamese teachers from August 13 to 28 in Hanoi, Ninh Binh, and Thai Nguyen. The course will host 80 trainees from 15 countries and territories, with lecturers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and experts from the Vietnam Education Publishing House.
