Ninh Binh, March 24 -- The People's Committee of the northern province of Ninh Binh on March 23 issued regulations on areas subject to seasonal fishing bans, prohibited fishing methods and gear in coastal, offshore and inland waters in the province. The ban will be in effect from April 1 to June 30, aiming to protect and sustainably develop aquatic resources in line with guidance from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. Under the decision, the restricted fishing zone covers the Quat Lam coastal area, including the communes of Giao Hung, Giao Binh, Giao Ninh, Hai Quang and Hai Tien.
