Hanoi, Sept. 4 -- The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee will convene its 49th session over 5.5 working days, split into three phases, the NA Office announced. The first phase is set for September 5, followed by a half-day session on September 12 morning. The final stretch runs from September 22-23 and September 25 afternoon to September 27 morning, with the September 27 afternoon reserved as a backup. NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man will open the session and, alongside NA Vice Chairpersons, will rotate in chairing discussions.
