Hanoi, March 2 -- Several international flights to and from Vietnam have been cancelled or affected as of noon on March 2 due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).

Qatar Airways cancelled two passenger flights, QR983 and QR977, and one cargo flight, QR8952/8953, scheduled for March 2.

Emirates also cancelled Flight EK395 on the same day. However, there has been no confirmation of cancellation for another EK395 flight scheduled at 00:25 on March 3.

Etihad Airways cancelled Flight EY433.
