Lao Cai, Oct. 16 -- Alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Lao Cai provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term Trinh Viet Hung has been named Chairman of the provincial People's Council for 2021-2026.

The National Assembly Standing Committee's resolution on the appointment was announced by the council's Permanent Vice Chairman Vu Quynh Khanh during its fourth meeting on October 16.

The council reviewed reports and proposals from the provincial People's Committee, alongside verification reports from its boards, and approved 14 resolutions.
