Jakarta, March 12 -- Indonesia is accelerating plans to relocate state civil servants to the new capital Nusantara (IKN) in East Kalimantan in 2026, marking another step in the country's efforts to move its administrative centre away from Jakarta. Minister of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini on March 10 chaired a meeting to review progress and implementation mechanisms for the relocation plan.
