Jakarta, July 29 -- Bandarlampung city, capital of Indonesia's Lampung province, has been awarded a world record certificate for creating the largest 'sekubal' cake ever made.
The award was presented on July 27 by the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) during the "Lampung Traditional Culinary and Street Food Festival" held in Bandarlampung.
The record-breaking cake measured 25 metres in length and 25 centimetres in diameter. The achievement was the result of a joint effort by local authorities and community groups, including micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
