Indonesia in talks with Asian countries on fertiliser exports
Jakarta, June 24 -- Indonesia is negotiating with India, Bangladesh and several other Asian countries on potential urea fertiliser exports to secure stocks amid global supply chain disruptions. According to PT Pupuk Indonesia President Director Rahmad Pribadi, the discussions follow the country's fertiliser exports to Australia under a government-to-government (G-to-G) cooperation framework. He noted that Indonesia's export expansion comes after the government decided to allocate surplus fertiliser output to overseas markets while continuing to prioritise domestic demand.
