Ho Chi Minh City, July 3 -- Half a century after being named after President Ho Chi Minh, Ho Chi Minh City has remained at the forefront of Vietnam's economic transformation. From opening to foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first years of Doi Moi (Renewal), the city is now shifting from attracting capital to focusing on high-quality investment to support a new growth cycle.
