Hanoi, Sept. 17 -- With forecasters warning of a complicated storm season this year, the Hanoi Power Corporation (EVNHANOI) has taken proactive steps to ensure the safety of the power grid and maintain continuous, stable electricity supply across the capital.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, between 10 and 12 storms and tropical depressions are expected to form in the East Sea in 2025, with around four to six likely to make landfall in Vietnam. Although Hanoi is not a coastal locality, it frequently faces heavy rains, strong winds and thunderstorms that threaten power lines and public safety if preparedness is not in place.
