Hanoi, Aug. 18 -- Hanoi plans to launch and inaugurate nine projects on August 19 to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945-2025).

The capital city's Management Board for technical infrastructure and agricultural projects will inaugurate the Yen Xa Wastewater Treatment Plant in Thanh Liet ward, with an investment of 11.197 trillion VND (425.98 million USD) and a capacity of 270,000 cubic meters per day.

Trial operations finished on May 31. The plant aims to improve sanitation and ecosystems in urban areas around the To Lich, Nhue, and Lu river basins, supporting sustainable development.
