Hanoi, Dec. 6 -- The consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.45% in November compared to the previous month, mainly driven by adjustments in domestic fuel prices and disruptions to the food supply in areas affected by natural disasters, the National Statistics Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Finance announced on December 6. The figure was up 3.28% from December 2024 and up 3.58% year-on-year. However, the rise in the November CPI does not significantly affect the average CPI, used to measure inflation, the office said. The first 11 months, the index rose by 3.29%. With this result, the full-year CPI will certainly be kept below 4%, meeting the target set by the National Assembly and pursued by the Government.
