Hanoi, Aug. 25 -- Department of State Reserves has issued a dispatch to its sub-departments nationwide instructing them to remain on duty around the clock in response to Typhoon Kajiki, the fifth storm arising in the East Sea so far this year. The dispatch asked for round-the-clock duty shifts and constant monitoring of storm developments to ensure timely preventive measures against heavy rain and flooding. Warehouses and national reserve stockpiles are being reinforced, with strict safety protocols in place to protect people, assets and stored goods.
