Da Nang, Aug. 1 -- The central city of Da Nang is stepping up cooperation with the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s partners across various sectors, emerging as a standout in local-level ties between the two countries. At the "Meet Korea in Da Nang" conference on August 1, part of the 2025 Vietnam-RoK Festival, city leaders emphasised Da Nang's strategic role in regional connectivity and its growing appeal to Korean investors and tourists. Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Council Doan Ngoc Hung Anh noted that as of December 2024, Da Nang had 345 Korean-invested projects worth over 1.33 billion USD, mainly in manufacturing and services.
