Businesses continue to drive Vietnam's economic growth: census
Hanoi, July 14 -- The 2026 economic census shows that Vietnam's economy has continued to expand, with the number of economic establishments increasing compared with the previous census. The business sector has further consolidated its role as the main driver of growth, while the household business sector is undergoing restructuring with significant changes in operating models and employment. The preliminary findings were unveiled at a conference reviewing the census held by the National Statistics Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Finance on July 13.
