Havana, Aug. 11 -- The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Committee in Cuba, grouping the embassies of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Malaysia, held a flag-hoisting ceremony in Havana on August 9 to celebrate the 58th founding anniversary of the bloc.

The event drew the attendance of ambassadors from ASEAN member countries, along with representatives from the embassies of China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Timor-Leste, and the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
