New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Zinara has raised pre-seed funding, biofortified staples brand Better Nutrition has brought actor Varun Dhawan on board as an investor, and financial information platform MoneyTruVa has secured an undisclosed amount in funding.
Zinara
Delhi NCR-based lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Zinara, which focuses on everyday wear, has raised Rs 3.61 crore ($380,000) in a pre-seed round co-led by Inflection Point Ventures and Nine Jewellery, with participation from actor Nikita Dutta and other angel investors.
Founded by IIT Delhi alumni Harshit Abrol and Sumanyu Vyas, Zinara offers contemporary jewellery crafted in 18K gold vermeil with lab-grown diamonds. The company has built a portfolio of more than 400 designs and crossed Rs 1 crore in annual recurring revenue, while operating through a digital-first model serving customers across India.
Zinara will use the fresh capital to expand its team, accelerate marketing and strengthen its supply-chain infrastructure. The brand also offers a lifetime warranty, along with buyback and exchange options for customers.
Abrol previously worked at P&G and Apnaklub, while Vyas has worked at Blinkit and Classplus. The company aims to make diamond jewellery more accessible for everyday use, rather than positioning it solely as a special-occasion purchase.
Better Nutrition
Better Nutrition, a biofortified staples brand offering products such as atta, dal, rice and millets enriched with micronutrients, has brought actor Varun Dhawan on board as an investor and brand ambassador.
The company, founded by Prateek Rastogi and Aishwarya Bhatnagar, uses biofortified seeds, soil science and farm-level testing to produce crops with higher levels of nutrients, including iron and zinc.
Better Nutrition has opened applications for its Biofortified Farm programme, under which it will evaluate farms and deploy its seed, soil and testing capabilities. Its products are available across leading quick-commerce, e-commerce and retail platforms.
Dhawan joins existing brand ambassador and Olympic badminton medallist PV Sindhu as the company expands its consumer and farm-level presence.
MoneyTruVa
MoneyTruVa, a financial information platform that aggregates exchange filings, media and social media data into a structured format for investors, has raised an undisclosed amount from a group of investors led by Sunil Singhania.
Its shareholder base includes several executives, investors and professionals from India's financial ecosystem, as well as business and finance educators and entrepreneurs.
Founded by Jigish Sonagara, who has worked on technology initiatives for financial market institutions including MCX, IEX and MSE, MoneyTruVa aims to help investors discover, understand and contextualise financial information from fragmented sources.
The platform will be unveiled on October 22. Its shareholders include former Equirus Wealth CEO Abhijit Bhave, Yes Securities executive director Amar K Ambani, former BSE SME head Ajay Thakur, Moneybee Securities MD Dhiren Shah, and finance professionals and creators, including Raj Shamani, Anant Ladha and Sonia Shenoy.
