New Delhi, Sept. 18 -- Digital physiotherapy platform Physioplus Healthcare and beauty brands MoroMaa and Peep Beauty have secured early-stage capital.
Physioplus Healthcare
Digital-first physiotherapy platform Physioplus Healthcare said it has raised seed funding from HBF India Ltd at a valuation of $800,000.
The investment brings together HBF India managing director Sachin Sheoran and Physioplus co-founders Samit Saxena, Jaswant Singh and Madhukar Pareek.
The company is building a technology-led physiotherapy platform that combines digital practice management, patient assessment, clinical documentation, technology-enabled monitoring and physiotherapy discovery, with a focus on making recovery more measurable and data-backed.
The company said in a statement the investment will help it to strengthen its technology platform, expand its network and increase its reach across India.
Physioplus said its platform is designed to support easier discovery, affordable consultations and consistent care, while enabling clinicians to track patient progress and outcomes through technology.
MoroMaa
MoroMaa, a beauty, lifestyle and body care brand founded by Moroccan actress and model Soundous Moufakir, has raised Rs 1.5 crore from Aviral Bhatnagar of early-stage venture capital fund AJVC for a 9% equity stake.
Launched in June, the company is building "M Beauty", or Moroccan Beauty, as a distinct category in India through products made with Moroccan ingredients sourced directly from the country.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to fund product development, strengthen distribution, and expand MoroMaa's reach in India. It aims to introduce Moroccan beauty practices, ingredients and rituals to Indian consumers while developing products suited to the local market.
Peep Beauty
TDV Partners has invested in Peep Beauty, an eye-first beauty brand focused on coloured contact lenses and eye makeup. The company says it is targeting a gap in India's beauty market, where coloured contact lenses remain largely dominated by unbranded and medical-looking products, while younger consumers increasingly use eye-focused products to express themselves.
Peep said it aims to build a dedicated consumer brand spanning the broader eye beauty category.
Peep Beauty is led by Aman Arora, who previously scaled Keventers into a recognised consumer brand. Bollywood actress Triptii Dimri has joined the company as a co-creator, bringing her understanding of culture, beauty and Gen-Z consumers, the company said in a statement.
The company's product strategy will cover coloured contact lenses alongside eye makeup, with the broader ambition of building a brand around the eye category.
