New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- Health-focused food brand Mitra, lifestyle brand Hexafun, and edge computing platform for AI Edgehax have secured funding in separate rounds from venture capital firms, family offices, and others, the companies said on Thursday.
Mitra
Mitra has raised Rs 14 crore (around $1.6 million) in a bridge round of equity funding led by investment advisory firm Bestvantage Investments, with participation from existing investors such as a Dubai-based family office, and other investors.
The startup said the funding will primarily be deployed towards expansion of its current facilities, the launch of a new 3,000-ton refined flour plant in October, entry into millet-based and lifestyle product categories, as well as strengthening its distribution network across India and new markets in the GCC.
It also plans to integrate smart technology to enhance manufacturing and operational efficiency, according to a statement.
Founded in 2023 by Abhishek Kaushik, Mitra manufactures and markets a range of health-focused food products using its unique stone-grinding method. The brand claims to have built a strong customer loyalty segment, with 92% repeat purchase, by catering to tier 2 and tier 3 markets.
Hexafun
Lifestyle accessories brand Hexafun has raised Rs 4.5 crore (around $520,000) in a seed funding round led by early-stage investor Prajay Advisors.
The startup said the fresh capital will be used to deepen its retail presence, accelerate marketing efforts, and expand its design-first footprint across India's metro and high-growth cities.
Hexafun, founded in 2021 by Harshit Singhal, and Manali Sanghvi, sells accessories catering to the Gen Z and young millennial shoppers. It has presence in retail spaces such as Regal Shoes, Crossword, and Hamleys, with the company expanding into launching branded kiosks, and listing across quick commerce platforms such as Blinkit.
Edgehax
Edge AI hardware platform Edgehax has raised Rs 1.39 crore (around $160,000) in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures to expand its production capacity and scale in global markets.
With the fresh capital, the startup aims to boost its manufacturing capabilities, accelerate product development, and scale into international markets across Singapore, the US and Europe.
Founded in 2025 by Prabhu Stavarmath and Savitri Patil, Edgehax is a full-stack edge AI hardware platform that combines compute, connectivity, and storage on a single board. It provides a plug-and-play solution, through compute modules or industrial-grade single-board computers, that simplifies hardware development from idea to production.
