Founded by former Livspace leaders Saurabh Jain and Lalit Mittal, Gravity is building a platform for India's premium interior materials market by bringing specialist businesses across kitchens and wardrobes onto a shared technology, distribution, key-account management and operating backbone. The company said the platform has started with a multi-hundred-crore revenue base and positive EBITDA from day one.
The company will use the capital to strengthen its technology, distribution and key-account infrastructure, expand into new categories, build brand capabilities and support working capital requirements.
Gravity plans to expand beyond kitchens and wardrobes into doors and windows, lighting, wall surfaces, home automation and other interior systems.
Jain was previously CEO India at Livspace, where he helped scale the business to an annualised revenue run rate of around Rs 1,500 crore, while Mittal served as chief business officer India and led its expansion across 30 cities.

The company currently serves students preparing for state board, CBSE and NEET, with a focus on Class XII students. It plans to deepen its presence in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar while expanding into additional states and launching crash courses.
